This 2008 Baseball season we plan to send our boys to tournament
play. Our goal for this season is to prepare each and everyone of our little leaguers to compete against everyone in the city,
region, and country.
In youth sports it is important to remember and teach that winning
is not everything. While doing this, we also have to understand that in young boys and girls, from child
to child atheletic abilities differ as far as speed, talent, and just knowledge of sports.
It is with this in mind that we are looking to compromise 2 All-Star
teams to send along with our Junior Team to the Little League National Tournament to compete for a chance to play in the Little League World Series.
The most talented kids in McCarthy Park competing against the most
talent kids in every other league in the World.
We will be sending 3 teams:
Minors (9-10 years)
Majors (11-12 years)
Juniors (13-15 years)
Teams and Managers will be announced on June 28, 2008 at
McCarthy Park.
